Coffee
Red Banner Coffee​; they do coffee so well. We treat ourselves to a bag of their coffee beans every few weeks, and they make a great souvenir to bring home! ~2-minute walk from the cottage.

Breakfast
Sands Pancake House; bring cash to this classic diner, and ask for your egg sandwich on their homemade bread. ~5-minute drive from the cottage.
Spanish Street Farmacy; farm-to-table, fresh and healthy, this is a favorite Saturday morning breakfast spot. Their quiche is amazing, and we always grab groceries to go. ~3-minute walk from the cottage.
Gabriel's; Sunday brunch here is an upscale treat. They also have a great little Italian grocery section you can shop from to cook with back at the cottage! ~6-minute walk from the cottage.

Lunch
Katy O'Ferrell's Irish Pub has a great atmosphere that we especially appreciate in the winter by the fireplace. Their Irish classics are scaled down for lunch and their brownie for dessert is a must-have. ~5-minute walk from the cottage.
Social's Cafe; funny hours but the tomato basil soup and strawberry spinach salad are worth it if they happen to be open. ~5-minute walk from the cottage.
Spanish Street Farmacy's menu is so fresh and seasonal, and their iced tea blends and homemade sodas are a personal favorite. ~3-minute walk from the cottage.
Burritoville is a long-time local classic; don't miss the Dirty Fries. ~5-minute drive from the cottage.
Port Cape is a downtown Cape Girardeau go-to. The Bel-Air potatoes and the brisket sandwich are personal favorites. ~5-minute walk from the cottage.
Dinner
Muy Bueno is our very favorite Mexican restaurant. Family-owned, the food is prepared with so much love and care. The carnitas tacos and chicken tamales are long-time favorites. ~5-minute drive from the cottage.
Minglewood is a local brewery that uses brewer's grain in their fresh pizza crust. ~7-minute walk from the cottage.
Mary Jane Bourbon + Smokehouse has incredible cocktails and entrees using their specialty smoked meats. ~5-minute drive from the cottage.
Broussard's has the best Cajun offerings outside of New Orleans. ~6-minute walk from the cottage.
36 is a classic upscale steakhouse good for special occasions. ~5-minute walk from the cottage.
Enjoy a high-end meal at Celebrations, tucked away in a former home on Bellevue. It's quiet, pretty private, the atmosphere is lovely and the menu is small and seasonal. ~15-minute walk from the cottage.
Gabriel's dishes out homemade Italian classics with a refined twist; you are in excellent hands with their mixologist. ~6-minute walk from the cottage.
Top of the Marq has a gorgeous view of downtown and an upscale lounge atmosphere. ~5-minute walk from the cottage.

Minglewood makes some of our favorite local brews, especially their satellite IPA. ~7-minute walk from the cottage.
Ebb & Flow Fermentations is a small artisan brewery just steps away from the cottage with really unique brews on tap and a gorgeous patio to enjoy them in. ~2-minute walk from the cottage.
