FOOD & DRINK

Here are some of our favorite local spots we frequent on a regular basis.

Coffee

  • Red Banner Coffee; they do coffee so well. We treat ourselves to a bag of their coffee beans every few weeks, and they make a great souvenir to bring home! ~2-minute walk from the cottage.

Breakfast

  • Sands Pancake House; bring cash to this classic diner, and ask for your egg sandwich on their homemade bread. ~5-minute drive from the cottage.

  • Spanish Street Farmacy; farm-to-table, fresh and healthy, this is a favorite Saturday morning breakfast spot. Their quiche is amazing, and we always grab groceries to go. ~3-minute walk from the cottage.

  • Gabriel's; Sunday brunch here is an upscale treat. They also have a great little Italian grocery section you can shop from to cook with back at the cottage! ~6-minute walk from the cottage.

Lunch

  • Katy O'Ferrell's Irish Pub has a great atmosphere that we especially appreciate in the winter by the fireplace. Their Irish classics are scaled down for lunch and their brownie for dessert is a must-have. ~5-minute walk from the cottage.

  • Social's Cafe; funny hours but the tomato basil soup and strawberry spinach salad are worth it if they happen to be open. ~5-minute walk from the cottage.

  • Spanish Street Farmacy's menu is so fresh and seasonal, and their iced tea blends and homemade sodas are a personal favorite.  ~3-minute walk from the cottage.
